Northwest Washington | Where do doctors go when they need cancer treatment
From September 25, 2012. When Tom Smith first learned he had prostate cancer he said it was a frightening experience. But he also had the presence of mind to consider all the treatment options available to him. And that's what led him to the Cancer Partnership at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. After successful seed implant therapy, Tom is cancer-free and back doing the things he loves. As for being so insistent on where he received his care, he says that's simply the by-product of being a doctor for 30-plus years -- a doctor who's performed hundreds of surgeries, ironically, on cancer patients.
